In 300 years’ time much will be different.
People will be able to access the energies of the etheric field – the next plane of our world after the physical. This will happen already in our century. Since our civilization is a technological one, at first mathematicians will describe this plane with formulas, and then the physicists and engineers will step in and create devices that will allow us to interact with this plane.
This will lead to a burst in the development of medical science, as almost all diseases first bud at the level of the etheric field. Human lifespan will stretch up to 100-120 years, and at 100 years of age one’s level of health will be comparable with the same for those who are 50 today.
And a burst in the development of power engineering will also follow – because this new plane will bring with it an inexhaustible source of energy. The era of oil, gas and coal will end, and there will no longer be a need for hydroelectric power plants either.
After this scientists will also describe the 3rd plane that makes up our world (in esotericism it is known as the astral plane). As a result, devices will be created to allow communication with the recently deceased. This will lead to the withering away of all world religions, as their description of the afterlife won’t stand the test. Reincarnation will become a known fact, and as such will be described in textbooks. Most likely, something like Buddhism may remain; being the closest to reality afterlife model currently in existence.
More and more people will be able to travel (in their astral bodies) into the past and the future. At a history lesson in school in 300 years’ time the pupils together with their teacher would travel back in time to witness the historical events that they are studying.
The capability of investigators to communicate with a recently deceased victim will make it so easy to solve crimes that it will simply not make any sense to commit them. And even if it were, for any reason, impossible to communicate with the victim (for example, criminals may be able to use drugs that will continue to have their effect in the post-mortem condition), then the investigator, having visited the scene of the crime in the astral body, will be able to see for themselves how the crime took place.
Governments will continue to exist, but their role will be significantly lessened. People will have little interest in such matters as who owns the Crimea – Russia or Ukraine. The conflict between the Arabs and the Jews will disappear – simply because more interesting activities will become available than to continue to quarrel with each other.
The concept of property will not be abolished, but the attitude towards it will change. Oligarchs and billionaires in the modern sense will disappear. It will simply not be “cool” to own, say, several buildings – people 300 years from now will just not understand why this might be necessary for happiness.
Sexual freedom will increase substantially. In terms of such freedom, the society of the future will be as far in front of us as we are ahead of 19th century society. The institution of marriage will be preserved, but for the most part it will be contractual – negotiated for a short period of time (for example, 4-5 years), with the possibility of extension after the expiry of the term. Adultery will disappear, but not because it will dissipate as such; it’s just that people will cease to perceive such an act as unfaithfulness. It will be viewed approximately as in the European society of today people perceive the invitation of their partner by another person for one dance in the dance club. Of course, those wishing to remain faithful can always discuss this in advance and specify this condition in their contract.
The learning system will change drastically. Instead of memorizing the facts, children will be taught to think and solve problems – not only and not so much theoretical problems, as life’s practical challenges. It will become easier to raise children, since at the new level mechanisms to include the elders will appear, much like those that existed in the societies of old.
Pornographic films will disappear. They will not be needed anymore, as they are only watched by those who cannot engage in normal sex.
However, a solution cannot be found for everything in 300 years’ time. Telepathy will still be unavailable to the masses, and written language will continue to be preserved thus far.
We will of course by this time have already died, or rather, we will have changed the phase of our existence. But, perhaps, we will decide to be born again – in 300 years’ time… just to see this new world
